Here you can see a view looking in a south westerly direction past one of the ornate and historical vases that adorn the Jardin des Tuileries, which we took as though looking towards the river Seine over a parterre called the Demi-lune carre de fer sud.

In fact, some of the most historical vases originally came from the gardens of the Chateau de Versailles and the former Chateau de Marly, just as many of the statues did, yet some are now copies with the originals beings held within the Musee du Louvre, who are in charge of maintaining the heritage of this royal garden turned public park.
