This is a view looking in a easterly direction past the statue depicting rivers of France, which can be found in the Fer a Cheval area of the Jardin des Tuileries, and to the right hand side of the image, you can just see a small part of the Bassin Octogonal.

Now this area of the gardens is close to the main entrance by the Place de la Concorde, which was designed and laid out by Andre Le Notre in the 1600s, and having past copies of the historical statues, the Octagonal Basin is actually the first water feature you will see in line with the central walkway, which will take you all the way to the Louvre Museum where the original marbles are now held.
