If you want a direct connection to the Paris Orly Airport or the Charles de Gaulle Airport, often referred to as Roissy-Charles de Gaulle, then Les Cars Air France have been operating a shuttle bus service for several years.

But if you need to make a transfer between Orly and Charles de Gaulle, then Les Cars Air France also offer a direct service between the two airports, and with a travel time of only approximately 90 minutes between the two Paris airports, it is a lot less hassle and cheaper way to travel than some of the other options available.

Les Cars Air France Bus Line 1 - Paris to Orly Airport

The line one route with Cars Air France departs from the Place de Charles de Gaulle, which was formerly known as the Place de l'Etoile, and is where the Arc de Triomphe is located.  But on route it also stops at Invalides and the Gare Montparnasse train station before arriving at the West and South terminals of Orly Airport.

Yet, going from Orly airport to Paris, then this shuttle bus service also stops Porte d'Orleans and Duroc for passengers who do not have checked in luggage in the hold, and the first bus leaves Place Charles de Gaulle at 5am with the last one being 10.40pm, but the other way around is 1 hour later.

Les Cars Air France Bus Line 2 - Paris to CDG Airport

The line 2 route of Les Cars Air France shuttle bus service goes from the Place Charles de Gaulle and has a stop at Porte Maillot, prior to arriving at the Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport, also known as CDG for short.  And once at CDG, the coaches goes to terminal 1, along with terminals 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 2E and 2F.

The first coach on this route in either direction is at 5.45am and the last shuttle bus service on the line 2 route is at 11pm, and with one leaving every 30 minutes, the journey time is approximately 1 hour.

Les Cars Air France Bus Line 3 - Orly Airport to CDG Airport

After your arrival at either Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport or Orly airport and you need to catch another flight from the opposite airport in Paris, then you may be pleased to know that Les Cars Air France operate a direct shuttle bus service between the two airports.

And the Line 3 route goes every thirty minutes, and has a journey time of approximately 90 minutes, and is far more reasonable option than getting a taxi, plus this option can be more convenient than having to make your way into Paris itself then making your way back out.

This direct shuttle bus service starts at 5.55am at Charles de Gaulle airport, whereas the first coach is at 6.30am from Orly airport, and the service finishes at 10.30pm, yet you may also be pleased to know that this service runs every single day of the year.

Les Cars Air France Bus Line 4 - Paris to CDG Airport

Les Cars Air France offer a fourth bus route, and the Line 4 route goes from Charles de Gaulle airport stopping at two of the main train stations in Paris called the Gare de Lyon and the Gare Montparnasse.

You will find that this shuttle bus service is available approximately every 30 minutes and the first coach departs from Charles de Gaulle airport at 6am, with the last one being at 10pm.  However, from Paris the first shuttle bus to CDG airport is at 6am and the last one runs at 10.30pm.

Accessing Les Cars Air France Shuttle Services



Now as we mentioned earlier, it does not matter what flight or what airline company you are travelling on, you can still utilise the Les Cars Air France shuttle bus services, which runs throughout the day and evening, every day of the year, regardless of whether there are any national French holidays.

You can purchase your ticket at ticket booths located at the departure points, or from the bus driver, however, you can also purchase your ticket in advance online at their website, but do bear in mind that if you do, the ticket is not refundable after purchase, and you must print this off and present this before you would be allowed to board.

All of the four routes have a different pricing structure, and this also varies depending upon whether you book a one way ticket, or book a return, plus there are different costs for children compared to adults, and booking online is also a cheaper option compared to paying for your shuttle bus ticket at the time.

As you can no doubt appreciate, the travel times are always approximate, which is due to the traffic conditions when entering or leaving the city of Paris.  So, it is also recommended that you arrive at the designated departure point at least 10 minutes prior to Les Cars Air France coach departing time, so that you can check in your luggage and be seated securely and comfortably.
