About the New Hotel Gare du Nord
The New Hotel is located in the 10th Arrondissement of Paris right opposite the Gare du Nord train station and because there is more than one hotel in Paris called the New Hotel, it is also referred to as the New Hotel Gare du Nord.
The building itself dates back to 1850 and this has recently been completely renovated to provide 2 star accommodation with most rooms now being air conditioned, plus there is a 24 hour reception and unusual lounge area with an impressive feature wall.
New Hotel Gare du Nord provides free WiFi plus there is also a private car park for those of you with your own transport, and even your beloved pets are allowed to accompany you upon prior reservation for an additional charge.
There is now a lift for easy access to rooms with your luggage, yet unfortunately we would like to point out that this hotel is not suitable for the disabled.
You will find that many of the buildings in Paris originally had cellars and the New Hotel is no exception, which has also been completely restored providing a breakfast room with the traditional stone walls and vaulted ceiling complete with a knight's suit of armour for an unusual way to enjoy the morning.
The buffet breakfast includes hot beverages, fruit juices, freshly baked French breads and pastries including toast and croissants along with accompaniments such as jams, plus there are cold cuts, cheeses, boiled eggs and fruit salad to get you fired up for the day.

There are single, double, twin, triple and quadruple family rooms available at the New Hotel, all with a modern en suite bathroom some with a bath, others with a shower, and most of these are now air conditioned for added comfort.
Each room is double glazed and decorated with colourful warm and welcoming colours for a cosy atmosphere, coming with a desk and flat screen TV along with international channels for you to keep up to date with your local news, etc, plus you can access the free WiFi from your room.
Access to the New Hotel Gare du Nord
Due to the fact that the New Hotel is located right opposite the Gare du Nord train station, it means that there are numerous different options for utilising the public transport in Paris.
The Gare du Nord serves the Metro lines 4 and 5 along with the RER lines B, D and E, plus there are numerous Paris buses on lines 26, 31, 35, 38, 39, 43, 45, 46, 54, 56, 91 and 302 which will get you close by.
Not forgetting that this is the train station where the Eurostar comes into Paris from the UK, plus the Noctilien Night Bus Service via lines N01, N14, N43 and N44 will also get you close to the New Hotel on the Rue de Saint Quentin.
However, as we mentioned earlier, if you are travelling via your own transport, then you may be pleased to know that this hotel has its own private car park, although this is an additional charge and has to be arranged prior due to limited spaces available.
