3rd relief sculpture Palais de Chaillot lower facade
This first HD photo shows a bas relief sculpture located on the Palais de Chaillot, which was put in place in 1937 when the building was constructed for the World Fair in Paris that same year, and this was produced by Henri Navarre who produced many different works of art throughout his career including medals, although most of these were for decorative aspects, such as vases.

Now this close up photograph shows a lady riding on a centaur, which is a mythological creature that has a top part of a human and the lower body of a horse, and these are normally depicted as a male figure, yet female centaurs called centaurides do exist in centuries old mythical tales.

But in this image you can see the location of the mythical bas relief scene, which is the third sculpture from the left hand side on the Palais de Chaillot below the terrace called the Esplanade du Trocadero, which is where you can get impressive views towards the Eiffel Tower.

Yet these bas reliefs are on the facade that holds the Theatre de Chaillot, and behind the picture windows is the restaurant of the theatre, which also provides impressive views across the River Seine to the most famous landmark and tourist attraction in Paris.
