Saint Germanus of Auxerre, Saint Genevieve and angel statues
This first HD photo shows three statues depicting Saint Germanus of Auxerre, Saint Genevieve and an angel designed to recall the origins and patronage of the church for these last two saints.

And these statues of Saint Germanus of Auxerre, Saint Genevieve and an angel were put back in place on this historical church in Paris to the right hand side of the entrance when it was restored to its former glory in the 1800s by architects Victor Baltard, Viollet le Duc and Jean-Baptiste Lassus.

Now the Eglise Saint Germain l'Auxerrois is one of only two churches in Paris that still have a porch, which you can see in this photograph, with the other being the Sainte Chapelle tourist attraction, and originally centuries ago this was the parish church for the Kings of France who resided at the Palais du Louvre.

So, to give you more of an idea as to the location of this historical monument, it is situated at the Place du Louvre and the porch with the statues surrounding the door face towards the Rue de l'Amiral de Coligny and the impressive Musee du Louvre.
