High Definition photos of the Jardin Tino Rossi gardens alongside the River Seine in Paris



You can find the Jardin Tino Rossi gardens in Paris along Quai Saint-Bernard next to the River Seine between the Pont d’Austerlitz and the Pont de Sully bridges, and not only do you have the lovely gardens to enjoy, but there is also a free open air sculpture museum called the Musee de la Sculpture en Plein Air, along with an open air amphitheatre where they hold a dancing festival by the river side each year.

The plazas or amphitheatre areas within the Jardin Tino Rossi Garden are located on the Quai Saint-Bernard, which has been an area used by Parisiens for centuries including for bathing back in the late 1600s, but today they are a great tourist attraction and local spot for meeting up or relaxing.

As you can see from this photo we took, the Jardin Tino Rossi is located along the banks of the River Seine and within it, you can find different contemporary sculptures, along with many different varieties of trees, plants and flowers, which provide lovely borders between the paths.

The Musee de la Sculpture en Plein Air is a part of the Jardin Tino Rossi, and we took this photo of just one of the many sculptures on display, yet it is such a shame to see graffiti on someones art work that has been placed here for all to enjoy in a garden that is free and open all year round.

You will often come across street artists while on holiday in Paris, and many of these people provide impromptu music, just like the two musicians in this photo playing very traditional instruments, that we just happened to see while walking through the Jardin Tino Rossi.

We took this photo of the Jardin Tino Rossi looking north by the amphitheatre and the promenade area just at the bank of the River Seine, which is a lovely place to sit and watch the boats, barges or sightseeing tours and cruises going up and down, and this is a popular spot for locals taking a stroll or for different forms of dancing.

This photo we took form the River Seine looking over to the amphitheatre that is situated within the Tino Rossi Gardens, and as you can tell, this area is utilised by people dancing, and you can often find different types of dances going on here from May right through to the end of September, which has become an attraction itself.

From meandering paths in between the flowerbeds, you can discover several contemporary sculptures, as you will find that the Jardin Tino Rossi also encompasses the Musee de la Sculpture en Plein Air, and this is a photo we took showing just one of these unusual statues with a backdrop of plants and trees.

Even though this garden in Paris is located by the river, it still has an unusual water feature with a contemporary sculpture located in it, and this is just another part of the Jardin Tino Rossi that you can discover.

The Jardin Tino Rossi was first laid out back in the 1970s and as you can tell from this image, it is a gardeners delight no matter what time of year you decide to visit this beautiful garden in Paris, which stretches along the bank of the river for approximately 600 metres.

In this image you can see a part of the Jardin Tino Rossi, which stretches from the Institut du Monde Arabe and the Pont de Sully up to the Pont d'Austerlitz bridge and the Place Valhubert by the Jardin des Plantes, which provides a lovely place to meet up or for a tranquil walk.

This is a photo showing a small part of the Jardin Tino Rossi, and to give you a bit of perspective, the River Seine would have been behind us when we took this picture, yet as you can tell, unfortunately there are several areas that have steps, which means not all of this garden is accessible to the disabled.

Here you can see a water feature and sculpture located within this tranquil garden and open air museum in Paris, and if you look very carefully you may be able to make out the toilets and drinking water fountain in the background to the left of the image.

The Jardin Tino Rossi has many different areas you can discover, some of which like the one you can see in this image, are in an elevated position above the River Seine, and it provides fabulous views down towards the Bercy area of Paris.

Like you can obviously tell from this picture we took, there are some areas within the Jardin Tino Rossi that would not be accessible to the disabled, and one of the entrances is via a staircase, although the other has a slope and as you can see, there are meandering sloping paths and a promenade that can be used by cyclists and those in wheelchairs or with pushchairs.

As you can tell from this photograph we took, there are some lovely areas to sit and relax within the Jardin Tino Rossi, whether it be on the grass in an elevated position overlooking the river, or on one of the dedicated stone seating areas in the shade of trees.

There are some very unusual types of sculptures within the Jardin Tino Rossi garden that we had a hard job sometimes making sense of, but this is just one of those that we took a photo of, which is a part of the Museum of Sculpture in the Open Air, but it always seems a shame to us when you see graffiti that spoils the experience.

As you can no doubt tell from this photo, there are numerous different varieties of trees that can be found within the Jardin Tino Rossi, such as weeping willows, yew, maidenhair, poplar, plane trees, etc, and many of them were planted decades before the garden even existed.

Here you can see a part of the Tino Rossi Garden and promenade, and to the right of the image you can see the roof of a building, and it is here that you will find public toilets along with a free drinking water fountain, which is certified by the city of Paris, and is ideal for topping up your water bottles with fresh cold water on a hot summers day.

Located in the 5th Arrondissement of Paris, we took this photo of the Jardin Tino Rossi from the River Seine, and as you can tell, it is a haven of greenery and provides a lovely walk between different tourist attractions, and is a great place to take a rest from all the sightseeing.
