Located in the 9th Arrondissement, the Hotel du Square d'Anvers is positioned facing a square that has a bandstand and lots of greenery, which is where this 2 star hotel in Paris gets its name from and some of the rooms have a view overlooking this square in Paris.
Being a small budget hotel, it is situated in a convenient area close to many popular tourist attractions in Paris including the impressive Sacre Coeur Basilica along with there being many cafes, bars and entertainment venues within walking distance including the famous Moulin Rouge Cabaret.
The Hotel du Square d'Anvers does have a small lift as well as the original spiral staircase to access the various floors of the hotel, however, we would like to point out that it is not disabled friendly.

You can choose between single, twin and double rooms, plus there are triple rooms that are ideal for families or friends travelling together. Additionally, a baby cot is also available upon prior request and subject to availability.
Access to the Hotel du Square d'Anvers
Located in the 9th Arrondissement, when it comes to reaching the Hotel du Square d'Anvers via public transport in Paris, you will find that the bus lines 54 and the Noctilien Night Bus on line N01 are the closest to this hotel, yet the Paris bus line 85 and Noctilien line N02 night bus are also within easy walking distance.
However, when you look at the Metro stations, you have the Anvers stop serving Metro line 2, which is approximately 100 metres walk away.
Additionally, at a distance of around 400 metres from Hotel du Square Anvers there is the Funicular or Funiculaire du Montmartre, which will take up the hill to avoid numerous steps so you can reach the Sacre Coeur Basilica easily and at the top there is the Paris bus line 40, which replaced the original Montmartrobus.
Yet when you think of train stations in Paris, you may be pleased to know that the Gare du Nord train station where the Eurostar arrives is only a walking distance of approximately 950 metres.
So, as well as Eurostar from London, the Gare du Nord also serves other high-speed trains along with the Transilien K Ile de France train, RER D and RER B train lines, with the latter being ideal for getting to Charles de Gaulle Airport. In addition, this is also a Metro station serving the Metro lines 4 and 5, making this ideal for getting around the city and far beyond.
