Situated in the 4th Arrondissement on the Isle Saint-Louis, you will find that the Hotel de Lutece is located within a building dating from the 1600s, which you can see from its facade along with original features such as antique beams, wood panelling and authentic floor tiles.
However, you will be pleased to know that this 3 star hotel in Paris has been modernised to include air conditioning and a lift, although we would still like to point out that it is not suitable for those that are disabled or wheelchair users.

The Hotel de Lutece has a 24 hour reception and staff able to speak languages including English, French, Spanish and even Arabic, who are there to also offer a concierge service. So whether you wish to make a reservation at one of the many restaurants in Paris, book a show, get tickets for an attraction, etc, then you will be in safe hands.
With check-in at 3pm and check-out at noon, you may also be pleased to know that there is a luggage hold for those of you arriving earlier or leaving a little late so that you can get the best out of your holiday in Paris.
Although the Hotel de Lutece is located within a very old building it has been modernised throughout and does have a lift as well as the original staircase along with air conditioning and free WiFi throughout, plus this 3 star hotel in Paris also offer a laundry and dry cleaning service for additional charges depending upon requirements.
There is a dedicated breakfast room where breakfast is served between the hours of 7am and 11am, but you can also request room service for breakfast as well. For those of you travelling as a family or group of friends, you may be pleased to know that there are triple rooms available that can be arranged with a double bed and single bed or as 3 singles, plus they come with a choice of either a bath or shower and are between around 18 and 20 metres squared.
Yet for those of you looking for a bit of romance as well as space you could opt for a Junior Suite at Hotel de Lutece with a large bed of 160cm X 200cm and the choice of either bath or shower, plus one of these you can discover has the impressive exposed oak beams for added authenticity and romance.
Access to the Hotel de Lutece
Located in the 4th Arrondissement, when it comes to reaching the Hotel de Lutece via public transport in Paris, you will find many different options within a short walking distance.
To start with, on the Isle Saint-Louis itself you have the bus lines 67, 86 and 87, but by crossing the Pont Saint-Louis to the Ile de la Cite you can access the bus line 75. Also, further in on this particular island you can access the Paris bus lines 21, 38, 47, 58 and 96 along with the Noctilien night bus lines of N12, N13, N14, N15, N21 and N22.
Now when you look at crossing the River Seine via several of the other bridges in Paris such as the Pont de la Tournelle you will get to numerous other bus stops with connections for bus lines including 63 and 89.
However, when you look at the Metro stations, you have the Cite stop on the Ile de la Cite serving line 4, but located on the Right Bank of the River Seine you have the Pont Marie and Sully-Morland stops both serving Metro line 7.
Whereas on the opposite bank of the river there is the Saint-Michel - Notre Dame stop, which serves Metro line 4 and this is also a train station serving the RER B line that is great for getting to Charles de Gaulle Airport etc, and RER C train line, which is ideal for getting to Chateau de Versailles.
In addition, you could also utilise the Batobus, which is a water bus that travels up and down the River Seine and has a docking station almost opposite Notre Dame Cathedral on the Left Bank and another by the Hotel de Ville on the Right Bank.
Yet for those of you who like the idea of going on one of the tours in Paris, then you may be pleased to know that there is a company called Open Tour who operate a hop on and hop off bus tour with 3 different routes you can utilise and there is a stop on the Left Bank, again almost opposite Notre Dame Cathedral, which is classed as stop 6 for both the Green and Blue tour bus routes.
