The Passerelle Mornay in Paris was constructed in 1800s and is metal fame and wooden decked pedestrian bridge, which crosses over the south end of Canal Saint-Martin at Port de l'Arsenal, and connects between two main roads called the Boulevard Bourdon and the Boulevard de la Bastille.

In this image you can see the Passerelle Mornay footbridge with many of the pleasure boats moored up below, and we were looking towards the Place de la Bastille when we took this picture, and if you look carefully you can just make out part of the Opera Bastille.

The Passerelle Mornay footbridge that you can see in this photo was taken looking along its metal frame supports which spans a canal by the Bassin de l'Arsenal, yet at present we have not figured out exactly when this was constructed but it was during the 1800s.

Looking along the marina on the Canal Saint-Martin with all the houseboats and pleasure craft moored up, you can see the Passerelle Mornay bridge and in the distance is the July Column, which is located in the centre of the Bastille Square.

While we were standing on the pavement of the Boulevard Bourdon, which runs alongside the Canal Saint-Martin, we took this photograph looking down Port de l'Arsenal towards the River Seine end, with its metal bridge called the Passerelle Mornay crossing over the canal.
