We took this photo from one of the straight alleys in the Champ des Mars garden, which used to be part of the military drill ground of the Ecole Militaire, and in this image you can see some of the temporary metal structures and barriers that were being erected ready for the Bastille Day celebrations at the Eiffel Tower.
