Photos of the Alexandre Brogniate sculpture inside Jardin des Plantes in Paris France - Page 161
In between the pillars on the second level of the Natural History Museum in Paris, you will find there are stone bust statues that have been sculpted to depict specific people who had an influence here, and these HD photos show the bust of A L Brongniart located on the right hand side of the building as you are looking at the facade.

In this close up high definition photo you can see the bust within its circular surround and the name A L Brongniate, which stands for Alexandre Brogniate, who was born in 1770, becoming a chemist, mineralogist and zoologist, he conducted a geology study with Georges Cuvier around Paris and introduced a new classification for reptiles, and as you can also see in this image, it shows his date of death being 1847.
So if you would like to discover this and other bust statues they are located on the Museum National de l'Histoire Naturelle, which is located in the 5th Arrondissement of Paris inside the Jardin des Plantes and to see these you would need to head to the western end of the garden close to the Rue Geoffrey Saint-Hilaire, which is the opposite side of the garden to the River Seine and the nearest Metro station is the Place Monge stop via line 7.
