But other options could be Grilled chicken skewers or Duck Confit topped with fried potatoes or sauteed mushrooms and salad, or perhaps either sirloin or entrecote steak with either pepper sauce, bearnaise sauce or shallots would be more to your liking and again in a large portion they come with fried sauteed potatoes and salad.
Jacket potatoes such as the 5th Element stuffed with ham, melted Brie, tomatoes, sour cream pickles and chives, the Cliffhanger with fresh cream, smoked salmon and chives or the Shining with chicken breast, mushrooms and cream are another great option.
As are the fantastic pasta dishes at the Canteen Bus Alesia, with names such as Nikita, which is tortellini pasta stuffed with beef and either a four cheese or bolognaise sauce, or perhaps the King Kong, which is tagliatelle with two types of ham, cream, mustard sauce and chives would be more to your liking.
And this is the type of restaurant where you really do need to make sure you are hungry, as we do hope that you will make room to experience one of the fabulous and overly large desserts, with delights such as a house chocolate mousse, a pyramid of profiteroles, large ice creams with a wide choice of flavours, etc.
And to give you a rough idea on the costs, the majority of main dishes are around €13.50 as of 2014, although some do go up to about €19, and desserts are an average cost of around €6 to €7, but some desserts are as low as €4.50.
