The Place de la Concorde is the largest square in Paris that has a rich history with some dark secrets, yet when the square was redesigned in the 1830s by Jacques Ignace Hittorff, he commissioned eight statues at each of its points on the octagon that represent a city in France, and this is a photo showing one of these statues in Paris that is designed to represent the city of Nantes, as you can no doubt see from the name that is located just below the figure.
