HD photographs of La Balle au Bond moored along the River Seine - Page 308

Here you can see a long flat bottomed barge that was originally designed for transporting grain, etc, but was converted in the 1990s by an entertainer, and called the Balle au Bond, it became a place for cultural events, music and dining, that also has a lovely terrace full of greenery of the top open deck.

And this barge, or Peniche as it would be called, is permanently moored along the River Seine at the Quai Malaquais in the 6th Arrondissement, and as you can see, behind La Balle au Bond you have the Institut de France, so if you are enjoying their Sunday Brunch on the terrace you can get great views to the Pont des Arts and over the River Seine to the famous Musee du Louvre.
