Even though Paris is the capital city of France, one of the key features has been to turn as many areas into places where locals and tourists can relax amidst greenery and numerous different varieties of plants and flowers, like you can see here.

So, this particular garden with its park benches along with rose bushes, trees and shrubs was one such area we came across right by the Grand Palais in the 8th Arrondissement, and these areas have also become havens for many different species of insects, animals and birds, which in turn helps the environment.
Now this photo shows a close up of a variety of rose, and unlike many places, Paris has brought in a policy of not using any pesticides within their public gardens and parks, which of course is far better for the environment and it also means that it is a wildlife friendly city where even the bees are thriving, rather than on decline.
