in a very convenient location for visiting the Futuroscope theme park and you even
have a lovely view of this from theme park from the site itself.
When you arrive you are provided a leaflet in different languages, which details the
regulations for the campsite and you are given a code that you have to input at the
entrance in order to raise the barrier to access or leave the campsite. And we would
say that it is an idea to actually read this leaflet, as it gives opening times of the
facilities along with information like where the rubbish bins are located, which we
initially found by walking around!
The pitches on this campsite in France are of a good size and there are pitches for
caravans, tents and motorhomes, but there are quite a few pitches that do not have
electric hook-ups, so it would be an idea to check availability because it is a popular
campsite due to its location being close to Futuroscope. Also, the pitch we had
was the old style European plug, so make sure that you have an adapter.
The facilities with dedicated disabled access are exceedingly well maintained and
heated when needed, and we all found that the showers were very powerful with
unlimited hot water, however, all the sanitary facilities do close each evening at
10.30pm and do not open again until 7am, which we actually found very difficult and
too long in our opinion, especially when you consider that the games room with
billiards table, video games, etc is actually open until past 11pm.
