Camping le Clos Auroy in the Auvergne region of France has good sized pitches that are surrounded by high hedges and are suitable even for large touring vans and you can choose between 5amp or 10amp electric hook-ups, plus some pitches are fully serviced with their own fresh water and drainage.
This French campsite is located within two nature reserves in an area that has lots of dormant volcanos, so it is a great place to go walking and hiking, but on the campsite there are numerous activities to keep everyone occupied whilst on your family camping holiday in France that include a heated swimming pool with jacuzzi, tennis courts, table tennis and a trampoline.
In the high season there is a Kids club, organised entertainment and a restaurant plus this campsite in France is within walking distance of a medieval town and fishing on a lake is only 500m away, but there are also other activities locally such as canoeing and hang-gliding for the more adventurous.
