Camping du Colombier Campsite Auvergne
Camping du Colombier is located in the Parc des Volcans or translated is basically the volcano park in the Auvergne region of France and is high up on a hill, it has fabulous views and the pitches are spread over two separate fields with a sanitary block on each, plus one field has chalets to rent as well.
This is a very rural family run French campsite, where they also own and run the local inn 100m away, and here you can enjoy a drink with a lovely evening meal that is traditional country style French cuisine, but we would like to point out that no English is spoken at all.
However, on this campsite in France, there is a swimming pool, table tennis tables, volleyball and a small childrens playground, but it is the walks, guided tours etc and the beautiful surroundings that is what brings people to this area.
