Camping Port Punay is located
very close to the Atlantic Ocean in the Poitou Charentes region and has a total of 165
pitches for tents and caravans that are flat and you can get a lot of shade from the hot
summer sun by the amount of trees on site, but it is quite open, so the wind can really
come whistling through as well.
However, this is an ideal French campsite for a family camping holiday in France due to
being only 200m from a small beach where it is safe to swim, and yet the campsite also has
a swimming pool as well. In high season there is organised entertainment for both
adults and children along with a Kids club, plus there is a games room, table tennis and a
restaurant serving regional specialities of cuisine, a bar and snack bar.
But venturing from the campsite there are numerous cycles paths, excursions and different
places to visit like Fort Boyard, the Oyster farming, or maybe try your hand at some
different water sports. Whatever you like, there is sure to be something to keep
everyone in your party happy whilst on your French camping holiday.
