Camping de Tournus is located
close to an exit off the A6 motorway and is ideal as a stopover as there are pitches for
tents, caravans and motorhomes plus hard standings and it is suitable
for large rigs and RVs, although the hard standings are no overly large and the
electric hook-ups available are only up to 6amp.
Also on this French campsite there is a small and basic childrens playground, but one
major benefit, is that there is a bar and snackbar takeaway service available all season
so you do not have to worry about cooking when you arrive or before you leave, or any
other time, plus there is also free WiFi internet access available in this area and around
reception.
However, if you do decide to stay longer, then you can still enjoy the tranquil and
friendly atmosphere of this campsite in France
that has lovely views overlooking the River Saone and the riverside walks available along
with the close by historical town of Tournus, the abbey and the swimming pool complex
located right next to the campsite for campers to cool off on hot sunny days.
