Le Grand Fraigneau is a small
family run site and is also a French campsites open all year, it has a quiet and tranquil
feel with lots of wildlife for added relaxation, especially around their large pond, so it
is a great campsite to stop-over at when travelling further down to the South of France or
for exploring the area.
The campsite pitches are a very good size, all being around an impressive 300m squared,
which means they are also suitable for large RV's, plus there are electric gates for added
security, where you have to provide a €10 deposit to obtain a key, but this is
refunded to you when you return the key at the end of your stay.
Even though there are no real activities on this campsite in France bar the outdoor above
ground swimming pool to cool you down on a hot summers day, there are plenty of activities
and places to visit in the local area, which the friendly owners will help you out with or
you can find out more using the onsite internet access.
However, not only are the pitches a very reasonable cost and your beloved pets are allowed
to accompany you for free, but there is also one other major point we would like to
make. There is an onsite mechanic and auto electrician, so if you have any problems
with your car, caravan or motorhome, then you can get these fixed at the campsite easily,
plus there is a 24 hour recovery service as well.
