High definition photo of communication antennas on the Eiffel Tower - Page 62

The most famous landmark in Paris has got to be the Eiffel Tower, which is visited by millions each year, yet we often forget that this famous monument has been a major part of Paris city life including for communications and numerous experiments, which led to telegraph signals, then military antennas being added to the top that could communicate with planes during World War I.  Then came radio signals, TV experiments, and even the first digital transmissions in Paris were from the top of this icon.  So this is a photo we took showing the top part of the Tour Eiffel with all its different antennas, that have progressively increased over the years and there are now around 120 of these installed on the famous monument, which plays a major role within the city, rather than just for tourism.
