High definition photo of the River Seine with tour boats and traffic along its banks - Page 33
As we were standing on a bridge looking at the cars travelling along the bank and the tourist sightseeing tour boats doing one of their circuits on a cruise along the River Seine, we realised that there are so many historical monuments to discover. Just like those you can see in this photo including La Conciergerie, which played a major role in Paris city life in years gone by, as it was a royal chateau that was turned into a prison, but today you can visit this impressive building and even see the cell where Marie Antoinette was once held prior to being sent to her death, and much of the city has evolved around tourism and caters phenomenally for those on holiday in Paris.
