Here you can see a photo we took of the Pont d'Arcole bridge going over the River Seine from the Ile de la Cite by the Hotel Dieu hospital to the Hotel de Ville on the right bank, yet in this photo you can also see the Voie Georges Pompidou expressway travelling along the river and this has become a major freeway from the Peripherie, although a more recent part of Paris city life means that a certain part closes in summer due to the Paris Plage beach event.
