Located by the estuary of the
River Seine between Honfleur and Pont-Audemer in Haute
Normandie, Camping Les Bruyeres is a basic, yet friendly family run French campsite
that is ideal for relaxation or those of you that love walking and hiking with the many
trails and guided walks to be found nearby.
This is ideal for hikers, backpackers or families with tents as there is a childrens
playground, table tennis and a boules ground along with a bar and restaurant plus numerous
places to visit in the surrounding area.
But there is one thing that makes this campsite in France
completely unique, which is due to the fact that there is a model railway covering around
42m squared and has been built by Monsieur Chiron himself who is not only a model train
enthusiast, but also the son of someone who worked on the railroads. It has such
things as running mills, Ferris wheel, the lights and sounds, etc and he provides guided
tours along with a video presentation for other to enjoy his passion as well.
