This French campsite is ideal for
those of you that would love an active family camping holiday in France, especially when
it comes to water sports as it overlooks the Vouglans Lake, which is divided into three
different areas - one for water skiing, jet skiing etc, another for pedalos, sailing,
canoeing, etc and the third is more for fishing. However, they all have beaches and
one particular one is only 800m from the campsite that is manned by life guards in high
season, which you can either drive to or walk to via the forest paths.
There is also free boat ramp nearby, so if you have your own boat, then Camping
Trelachaume can also sort out boat mooring ring rental for you at the harbour that can
accommodate large powerboats, saling and fishing boats etc.
When it comes to onsite facilities, this campsite in France has at total of 180 pitches
with sanitary blocks that include disabled facilities and baby facilities along with
electric hook-ups available at 5amp, although we would like to point out that long leads
and normally long extensions lead are required. Plus there is WiFi internet access
available, table tennis, volleyball and a childrens pool along with an adventure
playground, but from June through to the end of August there is also a bar, shop, fresh
bread, snack bar and takeaway.

Yet during high season you could
also take advantage of the organised entertainment such as cycle tours, walking tours,
shows such as magicians and acrobats and the kids club for things like face painting,
juggling and treasure hunts, which are all detailed and presented over a welcome drink on
a Monday evening.
