Camping du Domaine de Chatigny is
one of the newer French municipal campsites that is located at the edge of a forest
overlooking the historical spa town of Luxeil-les-Bains and there are around 95 pitches
for tents, caravans and motorhomes with electric hook-ups at 16amp, plus there are fully
serviced pitches available that have water connection and drainage.
There is a leisure centre that has an outdoor heated swimming pool and childrens wading
pool, covered multi-sports court, table tennis, volleyball court etc that are all free for
campers staying at this municipal campsite in France, plus there is a tennis court,
although there is an hourly charge for this.
There is also a snack bar and all of the above are open every day in high season and at
the weekends during June and the early part of September, plus you can walk to the
historical spa town within a matter of minutes and here you will find a health spa and
campers are able to get preferential rates for the facilities and services on offer, yet
there are also lots of other places to visit locally, enjoy the numerous footpaths, the
lakes and forest or even try your hand in the casino.
