My Boat restaurant in Paris

Next to Folie 15, which is one of the red buildings that have become a signature of the Parc de la Villette, you can discover a restaurant called My Boat, which has terraces looking out to the Canal de l’Ourcq, and it provides French cuisine with innovative touches in an elegant setting designed as reminder of times gone by.

About My Boat restaurant

With a trendy yet unusual decor inspired by the 1930s and made to resemble one of the luxury cruise liners, you will find that the interior has lots of wood, with dark brown leather seating, chandeliers, soft tones and subtle lighting, plus even an old gramophone on display.

And the restaurant My Boat is spread over two floors with an area of approximately 600 metres squared and different rooms that can also be privatised for receptions, plus there are three terraces that open during the warmer months, where you can enjoy the fabulous views and tranquillity of the Canal de l’Ourcq.

However, as of 2018 it seems that My Boat is only utilised as a private venue where you can organise major events such as your wedding, reception, anniversary, a cocktail party, even meeting and much more.

The Cuisine at My Boat Restaurant

The food served at My Boat is traditional French cuisine, yet with an innovative modern twist, and there are numerous different formula menus available depending upon your budget, often with aperitifs, wine, a cheese course and coffee to finish.

Now some of the delights on the menu at this exquisite gourmet restaurant include starters such as Foie Gras with toasted Brioche, Skewered prawns with smoked bacon and ginger vinaigrette, Asparagus with Emmental Vermouth fondue or a Duck terrine with prunes and onion confit.

Yet main courses could be Lamb accompanied by carrots sauteed with cumin and veal jus with cumin, Fillet of beef Rossini, with a Morel mushroom vol au vent or a Salmon steak with stewed succhini and a saffron butter sauce, for example.
But bearing in mind that My Boat is a privatised venue at present, the cuisine can cater to your individual needs and the requirements for the event you are organising, so this is only a general quick guide as to the types of dishes you could request.
