You will find that there are many wide promenades or quays located along the banks of the River Seine that are ideal for relaxing, walking, taking a stroll or just watching the world go by, as you can no doubt tell from this photo we took while on the Quai de la Tournelle looking at where the River Seine splits into two in as it flows around the south east end of the Ile de la Cite island.
