Here you can see the HD photos we took of a bust statue within a circular surround made of stone that is located on the Museum National de l'Histoire Naturelle, and when you look at the facade you will find this located to the right hand side of the large central statue facing the former royal garden of medicinal plants.

And this close up photo we took shown below is of the bust depicting Rene Just Hauy, as you can tell from the writing around the sculpture, and he was a French mineralogist, often referred to as the Father of Modern Crystallography, who became a professor of mineralogy at the Natural History Museum in Paris during the reign of Napoleon Bonaparte, founded the Musee de Mineralogie located within the Jardin des Plantes.
If you would like to discover this sculpture style statue of Rene Hauy, you will find it positioned on the garden side facade of Museum National de l'Histoire Naturelle, which is located in the 5th Arrondissement of Paris inside the Jardin des Plantes towards the western end of the garden close to the Rue Geoffrey Saint-Hilaire, and the nearest Metro station to this area is the Place Monge stop serving line 7.
