The back of the Palais de Justice facing onto the Square de la Place Dauphine was originally designed as a court house and has some fabulous statues, and this is a close up photo we took of one particular statue called Le Chatiment, which actually translates to punishment, although it is referred to as The Justice, which is more apt considering the name of the palace.
