Here you can see a the upper levels and roof of the west side pavilion of the Palais du Luxembourg, which was constructed for the widow of King Henri IV, Queen Marie de Medici, back in the 1600s, which is when the gardens were also first laid out, and having seen numerous owners over the years, it is now home to the French Senate who oversee the running and maintenance of this popular tourist attraction in Paris.
