Camping la Cote de Nacre has
pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes and is located in the Basse
Normandie region, or Normandy as it is also known by, where you can visit historical
sites such as the D-day landing beaches or museums.
However, this French campsite has some fabulous facilities including a new sanitary block
that was only built in 2010 and is heated plus has dedicated baby facilities along with a
shop, bar, snack bar and a restaurant serving traditional French cuisine
and international dishes that you can either eat there or take away.
But it is the activities that make this an exceptional site for a family camping holiday in France, as there is a swimming
pool complex that includes a heated indoor swimming pool, four water slides, an
outdoor complex with two pools, a paddling pool, Jacuzzi, water jets, etc. Something
very unusual is there is an ice skating rink, along with trampolines, a games room,
inflatable bouncy castles and one like a labyrinth that is suitable for all ages, a
multi-sports court, etc.
