Camping le Domaine des Bans is a large French campsite that has 100 pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, yet there are around 600 mobile homes and gites to rent if you do not feel like towing, and even though the gites can be rented all year, the services are only open at the times the campsite is open.
Nestled in the heart of the Vosges forest, there are three lakes on this campsite and you can even book a pitch by the lake, and therefore this a French campsite with fishing available, but there is also one for canoeing and kayaking, but with the local village only 300m away and around 3000km of hiking, mountain biking and horse riding paths, some of which start from the campsite, this is a great place to stay in which to explore the beautiful Lorraine region.
Now, when it comes to other activities on this campsite in France, you will definitely not be disappointed, as there is so much to choose from to suit everyone of all ages. For instance, you could enjoy the swimming pool complex with its water slides, Jacuzzis, etc, the tennis courts, trampolines, multi-sports court for basketball, etc, beach volleyball, the games room of the TV room.
But that is not all! There is organised entertainment organised every evening in high season and three to four times per week at other times and this includes childrens shows such as circus and magic acts, along with live music, bingo, themed evenings, karaoke, cabarets, etc plus there is a Kids Club and Teens Club to provide even more enjoyment along with a disco in high season, to provide a fun packed family camping holiday in France.
The facilities at Camping Domaine des Bans are also excellent and include a mini-market that has a bakery, grocers, butchers, newsagents, etc. The reception provides a fax, postal and email service, along with safe rental, cycle and baby kit hire, plus this campsite has WiFi internet access, bar takeaway, launderette and much more, so you do not even need to go off site if you do not want to.
