Domaine de la Motte is one of the
French campsites
open all year and has a total of 82 pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, plus
there are gites and chalets to rent, even if you do not have your own accommodation.
Located between fields and a forest, yet only 500m away from a lake that has a man made beach,
this is an ideal campsite
in France for those of you who are looking for lots of different activities to keep
everyone in your party occupied, as there is a swimming
pool complex with Jacuzzi, an 18 hole mini golf course, childrens playgrounds, a games
room, table tennis and some additional activities available in high season, which include
a kids
club and evening entertainment, archery, quad biking and pony rides available once a
week, plus much more.
At the lake side you can do a spot of fishing,
go swimming, laze on the beach or hire a pedalo, plus you will find a bar and a lovely
restaurant that is decorated in a 1920's theme with Charlie Chaplin, yet in high season
there is also a café style restaurant and pizzeria on the campsite itself, so, as you can
probably tell, this is an ideal campsite for a family camping
holiday in France, and that is without even exploring the local area or taking a trip
into Belgium for the day.
