Camping Lac d'Orient is actually a very new French campsite with modern facilities, yet is in an idyllic location set within a regional park, part of which is an ornithological reserve and is also right by a lake with a beach, as well as being within a forest, which here are numerous trails, footpaths and cycle paths to experience the outdoors and nature at its best.
There are 135 large grassy pitches along with some hard-standings specifically for motorhomes that are around 130m squared and all are equipped with electric hook-ups plus if you prefer there are mobile homes to rent. Spread over a wooded parkland area that goes down to the lakeside you can have peace and tranquillity or enjoy the many activities that are available and there is easy access to the pitches, even for large outfits.
Now, when it comes to activities, you can enjoy the heated swimming pool complex with its indoor pool and Jacuzzi, the outdoor swimming pool with water slides and a childrens pool or perhaps going down to the lake with its fine sandy beach only around 100m away is more to your liking. But here you can also do sailing, canoeing, swimming along with other water sports, also this French campsite has carp fishing and coarse fishing available, providing you obtain a permit.
There is also a Kids club and organised entertainment during high season along with a restaurant, bar, snack bar, multi-sports court, boules court and more to keep everyone happy on your family camping holiday in France.
