Camping International de
Maisons-Laffitte is a large French campsite that has over 200 touring pitches and over 100
mobile homes to rent, over an area of 6.5 hectares in a unique setting, as it is on an
island in the middle of the River Seine.
This campsite in
France is suitable for tents, motorhomes and caravans, although we would like to point
out that twin axle caravans are not accepted, however there is also a motorhome service
area available and electric hook-ups are also on each pitch if required.
Due to its location, this is a campsite
with fishing, providing you have a fishing licence and some of the pitches look out
directly onto the banks of the river for true peace and tranquillity, but this is also a
very popular site for a camping holiday in France
for those that wish to go into the city
of Paris, as it is only around 20 minutes away via transport such as car or train.
However, there are also lots of other activities locally like tennis, horse riding and
archery, plus the local town with its restaurants and shops is a real delight for
something different when on your family
