Ferme Equestre du Pesquier, as
the name suggests, is actually a French campsite based upon a ranch that breeds horses in
a quiet, natural and tranquil setting around half a mile from the local village.
Suitable for tents and caravans along with fully equipped tents to rent, no pets like dogs
or cats are allowed and the facilities are very basic, yet they provide lovely home cooked
food and even breakfasts are available along with picnics to take away. However, you
are able to bring your own horse(s) with food, paddocks etc available if required.
Now, if you love horse riding then this French campsite is definitely for you as there are
trips to Lake Castillon organised and general horse riding excursions, but do not despare
if you are a beginner, as there is horse riding initiation and even lessons at the
Coral. Plus, this campsite in France organises complete day trips with breakfast
included for a nominal cost of only around 60 euros, where you travel on horse back on the
picturesque paths to experience the Verdon, a typical Provencial village etc. Then
you reach the river where you will experience quite a bit more adventure with white water
rafting and the price includes all safety equipment along with professional guides to help
you.
