Camping River, as the name
suggests is located along a river and set within a valley in a beautiful picturesque area
away from traffic noise you can enjoy nature, peace and tranquillity, yet with a family
friendly atmosphere.
There are pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes along with six different mobile homes
to rent, plus you can also rent a tent, although you would still need to have your own
camping equipment such as sleeping bags, etc.
You will be pleased to know that this is one of the French campsites with fishing
available on the river, plus they have an above ground swimming pool, table tennis,
rafting and hydrospeed excursions with fully qualified guides plus there are even rafting
trips including a meal organised for children that can swim.
There is also free WiFi so you can keep in touch with family back home, a restaurant
serving a la carte and daily menus with a licensed bar and terrace that overlooks the
riverbank, breakfasts available, a fresh bread service, baby and disabled facilities,
etc. Yet there are also numerous places to visit locally including restaurants, a
Mexican town, the fabulous scenery with mountains and lakes through to lots of different
sporting activities like golf, climbing, and gliding that will keep everyone happing on a
family camping holiday in France.
