Camping le Soleil du Pibeste is
located in the Midi Pyrenees and has some very unusual activities on offer for a
completely different type of family camping holiday and caters for the disabled, children
and adults in a variety of ways.
There is an a la carte restaurant called La Hournere, which basically translates to a room
with a furnace, that serves regional cuisine, but also a pizzeria and a snack bar takeaway
where you can get those favourites like chips, chicken wings, lasagne, etc, plus there are
theme food evenings and organised evening entertainment like traditional music.
We mentioned unusual activities and yes, here you can learn or practise Tai Chi, Qi Gong,
archery or rollerblading from one of the dedicated family team, but there are also shiatsu
massages available, guided hiking tours and a creative workshop where you can do painting,
ceramics, pottery and more, along with a kids club if you want a bit of time to yourself,
so this is a great campsite in France to stay on, not forgetting the fact that they also
have a swimming pool and childrens pool, table tennis and a multi sports court for
basketball, etc.
