Camping du Pouech is also known
as Camping Municipal de Massat and located at the foot of the Massif mountain range at an
altitude of 650m, this is one of the small French municipal campsites that has fantastic
views of the local village, the mountains and the surrounding meadows and woods.
There are 17 terraced pitches for tents, along with tipi tents to rent, and there are also
another 17 large flat pitches for caravans and motorhomes that have electric hook-up at
10amp and their own water point, plus there is also a motorhome service area and disabled
sanitary facilities.
This friendly municipal campsite in France has a bar and terrace along with a communal BBQ
and picnic tables that are under cover, plus they host cider tasting and apple juice
tasting during set afternoons and early evening, which is a great way to get people
together and meeting up for a fun, yet relaxing camping holiday and they also sell their
own local jam that goes very nice on a French baguette.

But you can also take advantage
of the tennis court, skate park and a day care centre that are next to the campsite, not
forgetting the village with its shops, restaurant and pizzeria are only around 100m away
and there are many other places to visit or activities to enjoy locally.
