Even though Le Camping du Lac is
one of the Municipal campsites in France, it is located in a perfect situation to offer
numerous activities right by the Biscarrosse Lake and has 120 standard pitches with
electric hook-ups available, but also a dedicated area for motorhomes that do not require
the need to use the onsite facilities along with a dedicated motorhome service area for
emptying and re-filling plus residential chalets are also on this campsite.
However, getting back to the facilities available on this French campsite, well, it puts
many sites to shame as there is a swimming pool and paddling pool, table tennis,
volleyball, WiFi internet access on your pitch, plus direct access to a sandy beach
located at the lakeside where you can also do a spot of fishing,
There is also boat mooring available along with free use of a slipway, but in high season
there are even more activities available, such as sailing, canoeing, surfing, water
skiing, plus in high season there is also cycle hire and boat rental, a snack bar and a
shop for even more enjoyment on a family camping holiday in France, and that is without
contemplating venturing off site!
