Lae de Haut is an old restored
farm sitting in around 19 acres of land in the Pyrennes Atlantique area of Aquitaine that
has fabulous views across countryside and of the mountains, plus it is close to a skiing
station and only 25km from Spain.
Most of the accommodation is made up of gites and B&B with the option of having
evening meals as well, but there is an area designed for camping and there are three large
pitches for tents and even though there are no electric hook-ups, your comfort has been
very well thought of, as there is a small kitchen area with microwave, gas rings, BBQ and
washing up facilities along with a covered dining area for when the weather cannot be
predicted that also has another sink and gas rings, plus there is an additional outdoor
BBQ and seating area as well.
There are of course toilets and showers, and young children are very well thought of as
you do not need to worry about dragging along high chairs, cots, etc and even things like
baby bottles and sterilising equipment can be obtained.

Now, when it comes to activities,
this family run French campsite and accommodation business has so much to offer, it is in
many ways, far more than you would expect from such a small concern, so you will never be
able to get bored whilst on your family camping holiday no matter what type of stay you
decide on.
For adults there is a sitting room and a gym along with an artists studio to try brushing
up on your skills with the fabulous views, plus lots of activities they can enjoy as well
such as the games room with pool table, darts etc, table tennis, the indoor climbing wall,
archery, the swimming pool and more.
For children there are play areas and even an enclosed one designed for toddlers, also
rough mini golf, volleyball, basketball, plus the WiFi available in the club room to catch
up with friends back home, so no one is ever likely to be bored while on this camping
holiday and that does not include the numerous activities available locally like caving,
white water sports, and more!
