Camping la Plage is a family run
campsite in France that is located in the Aquitaine region, which is well known for its
many rivers and lakes, rich history and its vineyards and is a tranquil, pet friendly
family orientated site that is positioned directly on the River Dordogne.
This French campsite has a total of 25 pitches that are suitable for tents, caravans,
motorhomes and large RV's, all with access to 10amp electric hook-up, plus some pitches
overlook the river, which provides direct access for fishing along with canoeing and
kayaking only about a two minute walk away.
Other activities on this campsite include a large outdoor swimming pool with sun terrace,
table tennis, basketball, badminton, a bar with large screen TV for major sporting events,
a restaurant that serves a wide variety of traditional meals along with a childrens menu
and a childrens playground, so this a great place to enjoy a family camping holiday in
France and that is without venturing off site.
