Camping de la Plage is one of the
municipal campsites in France that has been revamped and offers different types of pitches
from standard pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes with electric hook-ups at 10amp
through to fully serviced pitches with water and drainage, plus there is an area dedicated
to families and another area dedicated to motorhomes with free use of the motorhome
service area that is located just outside the campsite.
Facilities on this campsite in France include 7 sanitary blocks with disabled and baby
facilities but we would like to point out these close at night and do not re-open until
6.30am, but there are also laundry areas, communal BBQs, an air conditioned shop that even
provides international newspapers, a bakers, safe rental, restaurant, takeaway, WiFi
internet access and much more.
Activities on site, include a multipurpose room for organised entertainment like dances
and theme dinner evenings and there is a kids club in high season, also there are table
tennis tables, volleyball courts, a multi-sports court, climbing wall etc, yet one of the
attractions of staying at this campsite is its close proximity to the ocean, beaches and
Mimizan Plage where people enjoy water sports such as surfing, so it is ideal for a family
camping holiday in France.
