Camping des Gorges de l'Oignin in
the Rhone Alpes is spread over 3 hectares by a lake in the Jura mountain range and has
terraced pitches to provide lovely views of the lakes and mountains that have their own
water connection and the option of an electric hook-up, plus there are chalets and mobile
homes to rent.
Services on this campsite in France include free WiFi and a Cyber café, baby changing
facilities, launderette, fresh bread and pastries daily plus a snack bar style restaurant
and takeaway service in July and August, yet there are lots of restaurants to be found
locally as well.
Now, being close to a lake this French campsite has fishing available providing you obtain
a permit, plus there is a swimming pool, another pool with a water current known as a lazy
river and a childrens pool. Other activities include pedalos, volleyball and table
tennis that is under cover, a TV in the bar area showing sporting events, marked rambling
paths that can take you to waterfalls etc and a kids club in high season. However,
there are also lots of other activities available within the area such as gliding and
canoeing, plus numerous places to visit making your camping holiday even more memorable.
