Located in the heart of a nature
reserve, Canoe Camping la Courtine, as the name suggests has canoeing available along with
swimming in the river, which has an island in the middles and is even suitable for
children.
Known as a green campsite, this is one of the French campsites open all year and even
though there are only 40 pitches, each is around 200m squared and therefore, with easy
access plus the space, they are suitable for not only tents, caravans and motorhomes, but
also large RV's as well.
But just because it is a reasonably small campsite in France, it does not mean that
facilities are compromised, in fact, they are excellent with other activities such as
table tennis and mini golf available along with a bar come snack bar that is open every
evening all year, dedicated BBQs in set areas, a launderette, WiFi hot-spot and an
internet café, making this an ideal place for a family camping holiday.
