Domaine de Mialaret Campsite in
Limousin
The Domaine de Mialaret is a
large French campsite set on a beautiful estate with its own chateau in the Limousin
region of France, where you can experience nature at its best with wild deer, otters, wild
boar, eagles, owls, etc all living in harmony on this large site surrounded by a forest.
The pitches are set amongst the trees over an area of approximately 8 hectares and being a
minimum of 100 metres squared, are therefore suitable for tents, caravans and motorhomes,
and there is even a dedicated service station for camper vans, but if you do not wish to
bring your own touring caravan, then you can rent chalets, safari lodge tents, gites, etc.
With facilities for even the most demanding of families, including a dedicated shower for
your beloved dogs, you can choose from many different activities like swimming, trout or
course fishing, tennis, boules, volleyball and table tennis, or for wet days there is the
games room, bar and restaurants from a takeaway to an a la carte dining experience to name
but a few of the activities available on this campsite. There are also childrens
playgrounds, a Kids club and even a circus school so you can keep the little ones happy as
well as us adults!
Entertainment is organised by
Domaine de Mialaret throughout the low and high seasons, although, as you would expect
from most campsites in France, there are more organised events in the high season that
include things such as live music evenings and walking tours. But if you prefer
going off site yourself then you can experience numerous activities such as water sports,
horse riding, golf and cycling through the unspoilt countryside, or just experience the
culture and the fine porcelain that this region is famous for.
