Camping Moulin de la Geneste is a
family run and English owned French campsite situated on an area of approximately 10 acres
with its own wood, a 3100m square lake and a river at the edge of the campsite, yet
there are only 25 pitches.
There are actually only 10 pitches that have electric hook-ups at 10amp for caravans and
motorhomes and the rest are really designed for tents and more traditional camping.
And, at the entrance to this campsite in France you will find a motorhome service area,
yet even if you do not have your own touring van, then there are chalets to rent along
with three furnished tents.
When it comes to activities this is one of the French campsite with fishing available on
its own lake, plus there is a river that runs along the boundary at the bottom of the site
where you could try your hand at a spot of trout fishing as well. Other things on
offer for a family camping holiday include table tennis, boules or petanque as it is
known, volleyball and basketball. There are also lots of spots to have a picnic on
the site and there is also a dedicated BBQ area for that all important al fresco dining,
which even overlooks the lake.
